Hi everyone! I been trying Ouai products for awhile now so I wanted to share my honest review on them. My hair has been bleached a million times so it was pretty damaged but now it’s not thanks to Ouai and of course other hair products. I been following Jet Atkin, celebrity hair stylist for awhile now and was excited that she came out with her own hair line and that it is available at Sephora. I was skeptical at first to if it would really work but I fell in love with it!
Shampoo & Conditioner
I got the repair shampoo & conditioner and it honestly worked for my hair! I don’t know if it’s in combo with the hair mask or the coconut oil I drench in my hair but it helped a lot. You know how when your hair is damaged, the flyaways are bad and it just looks so obviously burned… well that went away in about a week or so using this. I haven’t had a hair cut since November since my hair is short already, and this definitely helped conditioned my hair and kept it moisturized. One con is that the bottles are not like full size shampoo and conditioner bottles you can grab at Target or the hair salon and they are sold separately at $28 each. Ouai also carry shampoo and conditioner with volume and also for curls.
Dry shampoo is probably my favorite hair product of all time!! I got this, the mask, and smooth spray as part of a set with a really cute clear bag for only $25 that’s sold out at Sephora and is only available as of now at Neiman Marcus. This mini one is great to carry around in my school bag or gym bag and is so lightweight. Overall, it does its job and smell wonderful but the mini one would cost you $12 and the full size $26, compared to another one of my favorites Batiste. The mini ones cost $3 while the full size is $12.
I honestly did not know what this did but it came in the set so I figured to test it out. I used it after blow dryer or flat ironing my hair and it helped a little with the frizz and tamed my hair down. I only spray once on each side of my head and then rub it in my hair with my hands.
If your hair is damaged, then you need some of this in your life. In the shower, start off with shampoo, then evenly distribute the mask in your hair with your hands and leave it in for 10 minutes. After, rinse it out and then condition with the repair conditioner. This pack came with 3 so I used it once a week. Few times a week I would either use coconut oil or argon oil as a treatment. These work well alternating with the ouai treatment masks.
Hope you guys enjoyed my post and feel free to share your fave hair products 🙂
Disclaimer: I am not a hair expert but I am someone who takes my hair very seriously now after damaging it with so much bleach. I am constantly trying out different hair products and just wanted to share my honest opinion 🙂
