A Philadelphia Holiday

Miracle on 13th Street

This street in South Philly has probably one of the best holiday decorations I ever seen. I never even heard of it and randomly stumbled upon it. The exact address is 1600 S 13th St, Philadelphia, PA 19148. You can see very festive decorations and very bright lights! I recommend first driving through in your car to record and then parking and walking to enjoy the views and take pics!

Dilworth Park

Located right outside City Hall, this is a must see during the holidays. There is a huge ice skating rink, a carousel, Christmas tree, and cute little shops! Ice skating fee plus rental is $15 for adults and $10 for children. You can walk around and enjoy hot chocolate or booze to warm up and even snack on holiday treats. The Christmas tree is huge here and is very beautiful at night when lighted up. There are various shops here that has gifts for almost anyone! There is also a light show that starts at 5:30pm.

Christmas Village

If you walk right across the street from Dilworth’s Park, you’ll be at Christmas Village right where the LOVE sign is. This place also has cute little Christmas shops as well as a big lighted holiday gift box to take pictures at. Very similar to Dilworth’s parkk

Peddler’s Village

This is about a 45min-1hr drive from Philadelphia but is a must see! It is such a cute little town with shops, food, and holiday lights! My boyfriend and I had dinner at Earl’s New American restaurant where we had a pre-fixe dinner for $35 each and had drinks to warm up before. We then walked around the little shops and enjoyed all the beautiful holiday lights. I absolutely love little towns like this so I definitely recommend.
