Whether you are staying in at a house party or going all out, I came up with some NYE styles so that you can ring in the new year in style 🙂 I did it by style and then all the shoes I wore and recommend are at the end! I linked everything below!
You cannot go wrong with a sequin dress for New Year’s eve because it is both festive and shiny! I would pair it with a fur coat to make it look extra glam. The exact one I got is this one here which is a silver and black slip sequin dress from Princess Polly Boutique. I paired it with black strapped heels to complete the look. Another dress I was going to wear was this gold Alice & Olivia sequin tank dress that is unfortunately sold out now but I also wore this with the black fur coat from Missguided with sock booties.
Sequin Top + Leather Pants
This look is for someone who is more subtle but still wants to be festive. An embellished or sequin top, especially when it is mesh, is perfect for NYE and the best part is that you can definitely rewear the rest of the year. A sparkly dress stands out so it’s really hard to rewear and to find another extra event for it. I paired this one I found at Zara (in stores) with black leather pants and it’s totally BAD ASS!! I couldn’t find this top online through their website so I linked similar below.
If you’re not a fan of anything sparkly, velvet is another way to get your glam on this holiday. I found both of the pieces in my photos at H&M, one was $10 and one was $30. If you sign up for their email, you get 25% your purchase. For the jumpsuit, I paired it with my Louboutins (black pumps) and I paired the romper with black laced booties from Steve Madden. I only wear my Louboutins on special events anyways so I felt like it was needed for the holidays. I linked other similar and cute velvet styles below.
Gold Cover Up Dress
I got this from 12th Tribe where I am an ambassador so definitely shop there and use my link for a discount 🙂 It’s supposed to be a cover up but I wore a tan bra underneath with tan spandex and made it a NYE look with nude heels. I just love the gold shimmer and felt like it was festive enough. I couldn’t find similar styles to link below since this is considered a cover up so you can just click here for this exact link!
This is a very simple look perfect for dinner or a house party. I normally wear all black all the time so this blazer is perfect to wear over to spice up any outfit. I did a subscription with Material World so I got this blazer by St. John’s for really cheap cause it’s normally really expensive.
Off Shoulder Bodycon Dress
I really did not know where to categorize it lol but I wore this for a holiday party and received lots of compliments so might as well add it. It was black with gold glitter/shimmer so it was really festive. I got it at Revolve and the brand NBD.
My go to shoe would be any heel like this because it is simple and the block heel makes it so much easier to walk in especially when you’re drunk hehe. A classic closed toe pump is very classy and will also go with everything.
